Bodywork 

Sessions may include pulse analysis, tongue analysis, contact with subtle energy circuits within the body, passive and active movement, postural assessment and ergonomic coaching, acupressure, polarity balancing, and other modalities. They are a blend from many influences (see background post)  and are always tailored to the particular needs of my clients at the particular time.

Homeopathic & Herbal Consultations 

Acute Care Classical Homeopathic Consultations for Viral Symptoms

Initial wellness questionaire filled out at home, followed by consult either by telehealth or at my office in Silver City, NM to determine individual tendencies and most similar remedy for either prevention or care of symptoms. Follow up over the week.

Herbal Remedies to support high level wellness

Remedies adjusted as symptoms change. Interactive personalized remedy matching. Herbal Tonics in tea, tablet or tincture form can be used to support the immune system both to prevent infection or to treat actual symptoms. They work most effectively when used to prevent or to nip the infection in the bud so to speak. 

I wildcraft and grow many of the ingredients in the tinctures or herbal teas. I can also recommend herbal tablet and capsule formulas by other companies, both Chinese and Western approaches.

Ongoing Wellness Coaching
First session in office or Zoom meeting with followup over the phone.

Rates and Location

My office is in Silver City, NM. I can meet there or do virtual consulting via Zoom or by phone.                     

Prices:

Acupressure & Bodymind Manual Therapies.          

$  75 per hour

$100 1 1/2 hour  

$125 for 2 hour 

House calls within 30 miles of Silver City. Add  $20 
                  
Homeopathic and Herbal consultations 

(usually about an hour)  

and remedy research  including 

a follow-up call for up to 30 minutes.  $150  

Follow-up sessions after that              $  70 

Special:  Acute Care Consultations for Viral Symptoms. 

There is no required fee for this service, 

however a donation of $40 is suggested per initial consult and includes a week of follow-ups. Remedies not included. 

$20 for each additional family member.

Package of 10 sessions including bodywork, wellness consultation and ongoing coaching over 

2 year period: $60 each per session (regardless of time spent). Payment plan.

Background

Background

I have been a practicing homeopath, herbalist and bodyworker for 39 years as of 2021. 
My formal trainings include: 

Homeopathic Training with Dana Ullman, Michard Moskowitz, Jeremy Sherr, and Joe Rozencwajg, NMD. 

Herbal Apprenticeship with Michael Moore, founder of Herbs Etc., Santa Fe NM and Bisbee AZ.
Advanced coursework in Polarity Therapy, a combination of eastern acupressure techniques with western osteopathic and chiropractic style manipulations, along with exercise and dietary practices.
Advanced level  Neuromuscular Therapy, deep tissue massage, finding and releasing muscular contractions, with special focus on origins and insertions of muscles at joints.
250 hours training in Jin Shin Do^® Bodymind Acupressure^®
as well as attending classes in 

Ortho-Bionomy, an osteopathic technique using compression or stretching with gentle pressure to release holding patterns around joints; 

Aston Patterning, movement integration and posture assessment; 

Rosen Method Bodywork, gentle bodymind integration using movement, breath, touch, and awareness to deepen experience of aliveness,

 Integrative Manual Therapy; gentle manipulations of fascia and underlying structures for relief of holding patterns, 

Cranial Sacral Therapy, and 

Chinese Pulse Analysis. 

I have a Masters degree in Body Pschology from The Naropa Institute and advanced certification in the Rosenberg System of Integrated Body Psychotherapy, (IBP), which employs sensory awareness, breath, movement and stress postures to deepen awareness.
I received certification for a two year Clinical Integration course with Lonny Jarrett on the Fundamentals of Chinese Health Assessment.
My training provides wonderful tools, but most of all I try to be a witness and support for my client's process in the here and now.

I am so happy to be focusing again on Acupressure to solve acute and chronic tension patterns. It is always thrilling to feel tension knots melt beneath my fingers as two points are linked & the magnetic energy flows. People who came in the door tired & frazzled, go out of the office looking refreshed as from 8 hours of sleep, calm and enthusiastic about what lies ahead.

Many of my clients are getting marvelous results from the combination of bodywork, custom exercises which they do at home, and homeopathic and herbal remedies. Among other conditions, we are successfully dealing with post-surgery rehab, pregnancy tune-ups, menopausal symptoms such as hot flashes, depression, and weight gain, Syndrome X (Pre-diabetic state), High blood pressure, Diabetes, Chronic diarrhea, slipped disc, fybromialgia, and viral encounters.
